    We had a golden wedding anniversary party on the 4th November and we had nearly 100 guests to celebrate the occasion and every one there said how brilliant the whole evening turned out ,the whole staff could,nt have done more for us ,they even decorated the area out with banners and balloons i gave them ,the chef and the kitchen staff laid on a superb and delicious buffet for us i can,t thank all the staff enough for what they did including the disco which was called Snowy and operated brilliantly and recommended by the office manager Steve who also organised our wedding d,v,d to play on the screen through out the evening MANY THANKS

    Course was in excellent shape and only one hole showed any evidence of the rain we've had in the last few days. Buggies were still on which is testament to how well Haverhill drains. Back nine was tougher than the front nine but both in & out are a good test for mid handicappers like myself (shot 81 off hcp 14). Nicely presented course & well looked after, the excellent views are a bonus. Chap in the Pro shop was very helpful. Service in the Clubhouse was friendly & greenkeepers on the course were very respectful when you were over a shot. Greens while not being fast were running true and smooth. All in all we did find a interesting gem of a course & if I lived closer I would love to play Haverhill more often. I played on Tuesday 7th November & pace of play was fairly quick in the middle of the day.
